ROGUE ORC CLASS

ORC ROGUE GRUNT

Rogue orcs are orcs whose interests stray from combat. Although the "rogues" are not well liked for their reluctance to join the fray, they are admired for their unique talents they possess. Rogue orcs are under the direct command chain of the Orc Rogue Class. Orders by an orc under Cheev rank, of any other class, is deemed a "suggestion", and not one they are bound to follow.

Orc Rogue Grunts will normally avoid one on one combat. They will do their best to assist other orcs in killing a foe, but the Rogue Grunt will flee for safety, should the battle turn sour. Regardless of what other skills the Rogue Grunt trains in, Stealing, Wrestling and Hiding are the Rogue's main emphasis.

ORC ROGUE

Rogue orcs are orcs whose interests stray from combat. Although the "rogues" are not well liked for their reluctance to join the fray, they are admired for their unique talents they possess. Rogue orcs are under the direct command chain of the Orc Rogue Class. Orders by an orc under Cheev rank, of any other class, is deemed a "suggestion", and not one they are bound to follow.

The Orc Rogue has spent a lot of time learning how to hide in a variety of surroundings and situations, and is now ready for his/her greatest test as an orc. Disguise. The Rogue will be taken to a humie city. The orc is considered in disguise, and wears basic humie clothing and will not bear the Clan Markings (ORK). The Orc Rogue is given the difficult task of trying to "fit in" within a humie city and learn from them, by observing them. The Orc Rogue will be given money so that he can buy a pack animal that he can lead around to help look like a humie. Most Orc Rogues choose a pack horse, as they are easy to control, and after they are done with the horse, they can feast away. The Orc Rogues take the pack animal usually to a busy place, like a bank, and practise stealing items from it (i.e. Dye Tubs), after they have asked the horse to "guard" them.

While in the city, the Orc Rogue is not allowed to talk to any humies (as surely his orcish speach will give away his disguise.) The orc will only communicate with emotes when in a city. *nods*

The Orc Rogue will know that they have observed humie behavior long enough, when they are ready to join the Thieves Guild. They will promptly seek out a Thief Guild Master, and then will leave the city.

By being able to knock an opponent's weapon out of their hands, or by stunning them, preventing them from casting a spell or running away, the Brawler is certainly a valuable asset to a good krimp. ORC DETECTOR

Orc Detectors are the clan's best defence to humies that try to spy by hiding within the fort. Detectors can also determine if any of the orc's foes are a member of the Thieves Guild.

These orcs are a valuable resource, especially as many are gifted orcs, and have the ability to cast magic. Usually they rely on reading from scrolls though. The Detectors ability to cast magic is deemed a latent ability recently discovered. Prior to achieving this class, the Detector will have no skill in Magery

Orc Detectors are limited to casting 6th circle spells. A Detector may cast 7th and 8th circle spells only for practice. Their minds are limited in fully grasping the mechanics of magery and will never cast Resurrection for fear of irreparably damaging the ghost/spirit.

ORC ROGUE LORD

For each type of Specilized Rogue Orc, there is an Orc Rogue Lord, who is the leader for the type. Orc Rogue Lords Report directly to the Shadow Orc. They only follow the orders of the Shadow Orc and of the Overseers.

Orc Rogue Lords are the eyes and ears of the Shadow Orc. They always show great respect to the Shadow Orc, and never question the Shadow Orcs's orders.

The only way to attain the Orc Rogue Lord position is to challenge the current Orc Rogue Lord of your type. The challenge is a brawling match, with no healing or weapons allowed. The last one standing is the Orc Rogue Lord of that type. Failure to defeat the current Orc Rogue Lord, means you can not challenge him/her again for one month, or until there is a new Orc Rogue Lord of your type.

Should an Orc Rogue Lord position be vacant, any orc of that type may "claim" the position by advising the Shadow Orc that they want it. If more than one orc wants the vacant position, then the Shadow Orc can either appoint the Rogue Lord to the position, or he/she can require them to compete for the position, in any kind of contest named by the Shadow Orc.

SHADOW ORC

The Shadow Orc is basically the orc clan's "Thieves Guild Master". The Shadow orc assigns various covert missions to Rogues. All orcs, both rogues and other classes, show the Shadow Orc great respect. The Shadow Orc reports directly to the Overseers.

All orcs of the Orc Rogue Class, must bow before speaking to the Shadow Orc. Failure to bow, is a sign of great disrespect and may mean immediate demotion, and most likely a clomping.

Any Orc Rogue Lord may challenge the Shadow Orc for his/her position. The challenge is a test of stealing ability. Two orcs are each given 5,000 gold coins to hold. The Shadow orc and the challenger start trying to steal the coins at the same time. The first orc that is able to steal all 5,000 coins, wins/retains the position.

Failure to defeat the current Shadow Orc, means you can not challenge him/her again for one month, or until there is a new Shadow Orc.
